SUMMER HOURS OF OPERATION
Breakfast: 7-9:30am
Lunch: 11:00am-2:15pm
Dinner: 4-7:15pm
Summer Residential Meal Plans, Community Meal Plans, Cash Points, & Husky Bucks, and traditional methods of payment can be used to access the dining hall during the summer.

- May 11-23: Putnam open
- May 24-31: South open (closed May 25)
- June 1-21: CT Hall
- June 22-26: CT Hall & South
- June 27 & 28: CT Hall
- June 29 & 30: CT Hall, South, Northwest
- July 1-3: CT Hall & Northwest
- July 4: All Dining Locations Closed
- July 5: Northwest
- July 6-10: CT Hall, South, Northwest
- July 11-16: CT Hall
- July 17: CT Hall & South, Northwest
- July 18 & 19: South & Northwest
- July 20 & 21: South, Northwest, CT Hall (CT Hall closed for dinner on 7/21)
- July 22-24: South & Northwest
- July 25-26: South
- July 27-31: South & Northwest

Student Meal Plan Options – Summer ’26
If you will be on campus during the summer, taking classes or working, the following options are available for dining hall meal plans:
Students Living On Campus (dorm/suite): If you apply for summer housing (dorm/suite), a 7-day meal plan ($167/wk) will be applied to your fee bill.

- The 7-day plan includes one breakfast, one lunch, and one dinner each day at our open dining hall.
- This plan is valid only during summer session
- This is no rollover for unused meals
Commuters -or- Students living in On-Campus Apartments looking for a dining hall meal plan can voluntarily purchase the 7-day summer plan or a Community Meal Plan by filling out our online form.
Summer meal plans start on May 11th, 2026.

Farm Fresh Market
The Farm Fresh Market offers fresh seasonal produce and flowers from our own Spring Valley Student Farm and baked goods from UConn's Not Just Desserts Bakery for sale. Bakery items may include freshly-baked pies, breads, bars, cake slices, and gluten-free/vegan offerings. The UConn Food for the Pack food truck is nearby as well! Offerings at the market may change each week, so stop by to see what we have. Feel free to chat with the student farmers and learn more about some interesting varieties they grow, their farming practices, and what they love about Spring Valley Student Farm.
Farm Fresh Market Details
- Summer 2026: Thursdays from 11:30am-1:30pm on July 9 16, 23, 30; August 6, 13, 20
- Market will continue into the fall semester (stay tuned for that info)
- Where: Storrs Campus, Fairfield Way, near the UConn Library
- Selling farm fresh produce, flowers, farm t-shirts, and fresh baked goods from the UConn Bakery
- Farm Fresh Market can only accept credit/debit.
- Open to all.
MARKET UPDATES/INCLEMENT WEATHER: If there is inclement weather, the market will likely move indoors to the lower level of the Student Union. Please follow UConn Dining Services on our @uconndining on Instagram & Facebook for market updates. Weather-related updates will not be posted to this web page.

Husky Harvest Food Pantry (Storrs campus)
Husky Harvest, the food pantry on the Storrs campus, is open to anyone with a UConn ID. Please bring your UConn ID to the pantry.

Staff/Visitors
Dining Halls
- UConn staff can always access our dining halls using traditional payment methods, Husky Bucks, Dining Services cash points, or the Dining Services Community Meal Plan. Review current guest prices.
- Visitors can pay for a meal in the dining hall at the current guest price.
Retail Locations
- Staff and visitors are also welcome to dine at any of our retail locations that are open during the summer. See retail info above for what will be open.
- Dining Services does not oversee the Starbucks inside the bookstore (2075 Hillside Rd), Dunkin', Subway, or Bears BBQ on the Storrs campus. These private vendors operate their own hours & payment methods. Check the Student Union website for details on Dunkin', Subway, and Bears.
