Share your Favorite Recipe with Us!!

Do you have a favorite home-cooked recipe that brings back good memories? Whether the recipe is a family heirloom or a cherished childhood favorite, share it with us! The nostalgia of a familiar dish can make all the difference after a long day of classes or help with homesickness. During the fall semester, our culinary team will review the submissions and test recipes that look interesting, creative, and tasty. Winners will be notified in late fall. The winning recipes will be included in our Spring 2024 menus and served in the dining halls.

Recipe submission deadline is October 22nd, 2023.

  • This program is open to UConn students and their family members.
  • You are allowed to submit more than one recipe.
  • Please make sure to include amounts/measurements for each ingredient.
  • Indicate how each ingredient should be prepared (shredded, chopped, minced, etc.).
  • Add any tips for ingredients or substitutions that you might use.
  • Simple recipes are best as we serve thousands of students every day in each dining hall.
