Breakfast: 7-9:30am
Lunch: 11:00am-2:15pm
Dinner: 4-7:15pm
Student Meal Plan Options – Summer ’25
If you will be on campus during the summer, taking classes or working, the following options are available for dining hall meal plans:
Students Living On Campus (dorm/suite): If you apply for summer housing (dorm/suite), a 7-day meal plan ($167/wk) will be applied to your account.

- The 7-day plan includes one breakfast, one lunch, and one dinner each day at our open dining hall.
- This plan is valid only during break
- This is no rollover for unused meals
Commuters -or- Students living in On-Campus Apartments looking for a dining hall meal plan can voluntarily purchase the 7-day summer plan or a Community Meal Plan by filling out our online form.
Meal plans run from May 12th-August 21st, 2025
Retail Hours – Summer ’25

All retail locations on the Storrs campus (except for Dairy Bar) will be closed the week of July 4th. Dairy Bar will be closed only on July 4th.
Farm Fresh Market
The Farm Fresh Market offers fresh seasonal produce and flowers from our own Spring Valley Student Farm and baked goods from UConn's Not Just Desserts Bakery for sale. Bakery items may include freshly-baked pies, breads, bars, cake slices, and gluten-free/vegan offerings. The UConn Food for the Pack food truck is nearby as well! Offerings at the market may change each week, so stop by to see what we have. Feel free to chat with the student farmers and learn more about some interesting varieties they grow, their farming practices, and what they love about Spring Valley Student Farm.
Farm Fresh Market Details
- Summer 2025: Thursdays from July 10 - August 14th (no market on 7/3 or 8/21)
- Summer Time: 11:30am-1:30pm
- Fall 2025: Thursdays from August 28 - October 30th
- Fall Time: 11am-2pm
- Where: Storrs Campus, Fairfield Way, near the UConn Library
- Selling farm fresh produce, flowers, farm t-shirts, and fresh baked goods from the UConn Bakery
- Farm Fresh Market can only accept credit/debit.
- Open to all.
MARKET UPDATES/INCLEMENT WEATHER: If there is inclement weather, the market will likely move indoors to the lower level of the Student Union. Please follow UConn Dining Services on our @uconndining on Instagram & Facebook for market updates. Weather-related updates will not be posted to this web page.

Husky Harvest Food Pantry (Storrs campus)
Husky Harvest food pantry on the Storrs campus is open to anyone with a UConn ID. Please bring your UConn ID to the pantry.

Summer hours at Husky Harvest will run from May 13th-August 26th.
Tuesdays: 11am-3:30pm
Thursday: 11am-3:30pm
- Memorial Day week - Open normal summer hours.
- July 4th week - ONLY open Tuesday 7/1. Closed Thursday 7/3.

- UConn staff can pay for a meal in the dining hall at the guest prices listed below. Husky Bucks, cash points account, and Community Meal Plan can be used in the summer.
- Visitors can pay for a meal in the dining hall at the guest prices listed below.
Retail Locations
- Staff and visitors are also welcome to dine at any of our retail locations that are open during the summer. See retail info above for what will be open.
- Dining Services does not oversee the Starbucks (2075 Hillside Rd), Dunkin Donuts, Subway, or Bears BBQ on the Storrs campus. These private vendors operate their own hours.
Breakfast $9.00 ($6.15 children age 5-10)
Brunch $16.60 ($12.00 children age 5-10)
Lunch $14.00 ($10.00 children age 5-10)
Dinner $18.00 ($13.00 children age 5-10)
No charge for children under the age of 5.
Credit Cards that we accept: Mastercard, Visa, AmEx, Discover & mobile pay.
Prices effective Sept 1, 2024-Aug 31, 2025 (prices do not include tax).
Sales tax is 7.35% - tax is exempt for any individual with a UConn ID.
