Recipe Contest Judging
Chefs prepare their recipes on-site in a nearby kitchen (kitchen not accessible to the public).
Each chef will then present their dish to a panel of judges to discuss.
Recipes are judged on the Creativity of Dish/Cooking Techniques/Use of Ingredients/Taste & Texture.
A printable version of the recipes will be made available on this site following the event.

UConn Bakery Demos and Displays
Stop by and learn the art of decorating from our professional pastry chefs and bakers.

“Boiling Point” Competition
Each team has 75 minutes to create 3 tapas plates at a table with two hotplates and their mystery basket of ingredients.
They also have access to a pantry with additional ingredients and spices.
Get up close and watch the teams as they strategize and develop their dishes.
Each team must present and discuss their dishes with the panel of judges.

Award presentation to immediately follow Boiling Point.
