Summer '25 update: A brand new Dining Services café is currently being constructed on the Hartford campus in the Times Building. Stay tuned to this page for more updates throughout the summer. Meal Plans

Two student meal plan options are available for the Times Building Café.

5 meals per week + 50 cash points = $830 per semester
10 meals per week + 50 cash points = $1470 per semester

Meal Plan Details

  • With each meal swipe, you can get the entrée of the day, a fountain beverage, and a side or dessert, or build your own meal combo by picking items from our everyday menu. Entrées of the day will be offered on a rotational menu and a vegetarian option will be offered daily.
  • Points can be used for other café items at the Times Building Café such as coffee and snacks. Points can also be used at UConn Storrs, UConn Law, and UConn Avery Point.
  • Meals reset each week for both plans and cash points are for the entire semester.
  • Points do not roll over.
  • Plans are added to your fee bill w/in 5-7 business days.

Purchase a Student Meal Plan

Student Cash Point Account

If you prefer to purchase a Dining Cash Point account (declining balance of funds), please fill out our request form. Cash Points will be added to your OneCard ID. Cash points roll over to the next semester and do not expire. When you swipe your card using Cash Points, the sales tax will be removed, and you’ll receive 15% off your purchase.

Dining Cash Points vs Husky Bucks/Debit-Credit Card - Many students/families prefer to purchase Dining Cash Points as the cost is applied to the student fee bill and can be paid for in various ways. Husky Bucks is money loaded onto your OneCard via a credit/debit card.

Employee Cash Point Account

Employees on the Hartford campus can purchase Dining Cash Points (declining balance) to use at the cafe. Cash Points are added to your OneCard ID. When you swipe your card using Cash Points, the sales tax will be removed, and you’ll receive 15% off your purchase.
