Dining Hall Hours Hours – Winter Break 25/26
WINTER BREAK
Putnam Dining Hall will be the only dining hall open during winter break from December 15th, 2025 - January 14th, 2026.
Putnam Hours of Operation

- Breakfast: 7am-9:30am
- Lunch: 11am-2:15pm
- Dinner: 4-7:15pm
Community Meal Plans and Cash Points* accounts can be used during the winter break
*Points associated with fall residential meal plans are no longer active after December 14th.
Guests w/out Meal Plans are welcome to have a meal in the dining hall at our guest rate.
Student Meal Plan Options During Break
If you will be on campus during break:
- Living in a Dorm/Suite: All students assigned/approved to live in a dorm/suite during Winter Break by Residence Life will be assigned a 7-day meal plan ($167/week) as part of the housing application process.
- On Campus Apartment or Commuting: Students commuting or living in on-campus apartments are welcome to voluntarily purchase meal plan options. See options here.
- The 7- Winter Break meal plans include: 1 breakfast, 1 lunch, and 1 dinner per day. Unused meals do not roll over to the following day or week.
- Students enrolled in academic, Winter Session classes, or working/interning on campus, may change their meal plan up until their third day living on campus, by contacting our office at 860-486-3128, M-F, 8am-5pm.
- Meal plans cannot be pro-rated and are billed for the same weeks you are housed in a dorm/suite.
- Community Meal Plans and Cash Points* accounts are available for use during winter break.
*Points associated with residential meal plans are no longer active after December 14th, 2025. Cash Point accounts that were purchased separately can continue to be used.
Retail Hours: Winter Break
Retail hours for winter break will be available at dining.uconn.edu/retail-hours the week leading up to break.
Husky Harvest Food Pantry (Storrs)
Winter Break Hours - Hours for winter break are not yet available.

A few designated parking spots are available for the pantry.
Don't forget to bring your UConn ID. The pantry has a limited supply of bags. Please bring a reusable grocery bag with you. Thank you!
