Do you have a favorite home-cooked recipe that brings back good memories? Whether the recipe is a family heirloom or a cherished childhood favorite, share it with us! The nostalgia of a familiar dish can make all the difference after a long day of classes or help with homesickness. Our culinary team will review submissions and test recipes that look interesting, creative, and tasty. If your recipe is chosen, we'll reach out and let you know that we will be highlighting it in one of dining halls. If it is well-received by the campus community, it may become a permanent part of our menu cycle!

Use the form below to upload your recipe by either attaching the recipe as a document or filling in the details below.

  • This program is open to UConn students and their family members.
  • You are allowed to submit more than one recipe.
  • Please make sure to include amounts/measurements for each ingredient.
  • Indicate how each ingredient should be prepared (shredded, chopped, minced, etc.).
  • Add any tips for ingredients or substitutions that you might use.
  • Simple recipes that are easily scalable are best..we serve hundreds of students every day in each dining hall.
